Clever Ways to Create Passive Earnings

Clever ways to create passive earningsWhat are passive earnings? It is a sort of income that keeps paying you after the initial effort to establish it is done. If you would like to know how to do this, keep reading.

Passive earnings are not only a tool for the wealthy. They may be the first to realize how to use it, but you can find out the same information that they already know to increase your monthly income and overall net worth.

The goal of passive income is to capitalize on what work you have already done. It frees you up to spend time with loved ones and friends or to pursue another business venture. Either way, it is a win-win situation for you and your business.

Here are some clever ways of passive income streams that you can put into action:

Affiliate programs– You are not fixed to one affiliate program at a time. But, choose your programs wisely. Perform some research to find one that is appropriate but not in direct competition with your product or niche.

Set up a blog or website to promote it. Use all of the tools in your affiliate toolbox to their best advantage to maximize your traffic and profits. Once all is set up and you have developed a workable system, watch your hard work pay off.

Write content

Sites like Associated Content pay for content once but also offer an incentive program that continues to pay each month. Promote your content on your website and social networking sites to increase your page views and monthly payments.

Try advertising

This can be Google AdSense or another service where you promote certain services and get paid per click or conversion. Consider a program that works best with your business. It will require some research to find the best keywords but once you find out you are on the right road, stick with your system to continue to pull in dollars.

Maximize your product offerings

How can you achieve this ? You can pick the content that you have been putting on your website. Combine it into report form and create a book that you offer in your site shop or on eBay. Turn that group of content into an audio series that you offer to your customers.

Want to tease them? Give away a special report based on this series to those who sign up for your mailing list. Then create an email sequence to entice them to buy the larger ebook you can compile. One set of content can spawn audios, videos, workbooks, teleseminars, podcasts, ebooks and more. The initial work was done upfront with the content and very little needs to be done to turn it into something more.

Start creating your passive earnings with these ideas.

Online Writing Jobs

Online Writing JobsHow To Find Online Writing Jobs

There was a time when online writing jobs were pretty hard to come by. It wasn’t that there were no publications that needed writers or submissions. It was just rather difficult for individual writers to find the publishers that could use what they had to offer. It was a process of making connections, combing through directories, finding a publisher who might be interested, making a pitch, and maybe landing the job (or maybe not).

The internet has turned online writing into a whole new ball game. Some of the changes are good – it’s easier to find publishers that are looking for the exact skills and expertise you possess, and communicating back and forth is much more efficient. But some of the changes have been not-so-good, like the increased pervasiveness of scammers, spammers, and just plain shady characters.

But don’t let that scare you. With all of the websites that are now online, and all of the print publications that are still going strong even in the digital age, jobs for writers are abundant. If you have the talent and the patience to wade through all the offers that are out there, the chance that you will find worthwile online writing jobs is very good.

Where to Look

There are tons of sites that feature online writing jobs. Some are great, others are okay, and still others are terrible. The terrible sites tend to offer either extremely low-paying gigs or stuff that is too good to be true. Many are also poorly designed, but don’t let design be your only clue. Some disreputable sites have attractive enough designs, and some good sites are a little on the unsophisticated side.

Writing job sites come in a variety of formats. Some are bid boards, where a client posts a job and it is generally awarded to the lowest bidder that is capable of doing what is required. Some are job boards similar to Monster.com. Then there are classified sites such as CraigsList, which offer not only writing jobs but a wide range of other job postings and items for sale. You also have your blogs and websites that seek out writing jobs from other sites and post the best ones for their readers.

Getting the Job

As with any job, the first step to getting a writing job is to apply. Each listing should have instructions regarding what information the job poster needs, what attachments you should send, and where you should send your application. Make sure you have an up-to-date resume, because many prospective clients will request one.

Once you’ve applied, you might or might not hear back from the job poster soon. If you were given a time frame for response, wait until it has passed before checking in. Otherwise, consider sending a follow-up email in a week or so. There’s a lot of competition for online writing jobs, so it’s always good to call attention to yourself as long as you do it politely.

Some clients may require you to pass a test or write a sample article before you start working for them. Others request an interview, and still others simply use your credentials, past work and communications with them to make a decision. So be sure to always put your best foot forward.

Finding online writing jobs takes patience and perseverance. But if you enjoy writing, all that work will pay off when you get your first client. Good luck!

How to Create Multiple Income Streams

How To Create Multiple Income StreamsNo one wants to be a one-trick pony. When it comes to business, this can break you during hard economic times. Here are some ideas for creating multiple income streams.

When some people think of multiple income streams they think of “get rich quick” schemes that do nothing but take your hard-earned money. However, there are other ways. And for online business owners, creating multiple income streams can buffer you during times when another income source may dry up.

Ideas for More Income

* Find new clients within your niche – Maybe you have one main client. This may be the case if you are a freelancer. Begin looking for other clients. If you are a freelance writer for instance, try writing for sites like Elance to find new projects that can increase your monthly income.

* Set up a blog – Blogs are not only a good place to communicate with your market, but also a place to earn a bit of extra income. Find ways to monetize it.

* Keep your job – Whether you are starting an online or offline business, it can be slow going the first few years. It is unwise to give up your job until you see a consistent turn of profit that can meet or even exceed the income you will be losing. It will take a balancing act to get everything done each day, but you will have that security of knowing your bills will be paid and your family taken care of until you can leave that job for good.

* Create a product of your own – Maybe you provide a service working for others such as ghostwriting or virtual assisting. But you can also create an informational product that talks about the niche that you represent. If you are a life coach, create a workbook or video series that talks about how to become a life coach.

Another idea

Create tools that your clients or others can buy from you that speak of handling a specific life situation. This is another way to brand yourself as an expert in your niche.

* Write an ebook – Ebooks are the wave of the future. They are easy and quick to download so your buyers have the information in their hands in less than 60 seconds. You can sell them on your website, blog or on another site for greater exposure.

* Affiliate marketing – The best thing about affiliate marketing is that the person with the product gives you all of the tools that you need to promote their product in your affiliate toolbox. This makes it easy for you to begin taking advantage of this stream of income. And, your revenue can grow as your business grows.
